Announcing 3 more courses. These will follow the timetable of the 2-day workshop introducing the skills of making tassels, buttons, cords and other trimmings.
The first day of each workshop will cover the basic techniques regularly used in hand made passementerie while on the second day students will have the opportunity to put those techniques together to complete a tasselled button suitable for a bolster cushion and an acorn similar to those I made for Marchmont House.
The first 2 courses are at the Upholstery Craft Training Centre in Stirling, Scotland on 17th/18th April and 19th/20th April. For more details click here. The third course will be held at the Norfolk Creative Arts in Grimston, Norfolk on 2nd/3rd June. For more details click here.
I am currently organising another course which will be held in the Brecon Beacons National Park later this year. I will publish details as soon as these are finalised.
